"The Arab Forum of Science Media and Communication is the first event of its kind to be held in the Arab region, gathering those who are interested in the fields of media and scientific communication in the Arab region. The annual Forum aims to bring together science journalists, science communicators, researchers and scientists to exchange ideas and thoughts and empower the science communication industry in MENA. Also, we are gathering government, private sector and non-governmental organizations dedicated to media and science communication, as well as university students studying media, journalism, and science. ... AFSMC–PCST 2026 [Feb. 3-4] is a special edition of the Arab Forum of Science Media and Communication. Held in partnership with the global PCST Network, it brings the PCST Symposium to the Arab region for the first time. This special edition of the PCST Symposium explores the critical theme of advancing Science Media and Communication Teaching and Research in the Arab World with its unique challenges and opportunities, and how it can respond to regional needs while contributing to the global conversation."
