EurekAlert! Travel Awards for International Science Reporters

"The EurekAlert! Travel Awards for International Science Reporters [previously called EurekAlert! Fellowships for International Science Reporters] support excellence in science communication globally, with a focus on low- and middle-income countries. Through the program, EurekAlert! provides travel funding and support to early-career science, technology, and health journalists to attend the AAAS Annual Meeting, where they can access opportunities to cover the latest research and network with peers from around the world. " In 2025, applications were accepted from science journalists with <five years' experience from Brazil, Bulgaria, Czechia, Estonia, Hungary,  Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine.
