“Ohio Sea Grant is hosting a Lake Erie Workshop for Science and Outdoor Writers on August 27th-August 28th, 2026. This hands-on learning experience takes place at Stone Laboratory, The Ohio State University’s Island Campus on Lake Erie.

“The event, housing, and meals are free of charge to participants. Housing is dormitory-style, including bunk beds.”

This event has been taking place annually for over three decades.
