Rosalynn Carter Fellowships for Mental Health Journalism
The Rosalynn Carter Fellowships for Mental Health Journalism support journalists in pursuing innovative mental health journalism projects of their choice during a nonresidential, year-long fellowship. The fellowships challenge recipients to delve deeper into learning about mental health and substance use disorders and to share reliable information with the public about behavioral health issues.
Each year, nine U.S. journalists are selected and awarded stipends of $10,000 each to cover fellowship project expenses. Fellows receive also receive travel expenses and training on effective behavioral health reporting from past fellows and advisors.
