“As part of EJN’s Boosting Environmental Coverage in the Western Balkans project, we are pleased to announce an in-person media workshop [in early September 2026 in Montenegro] for journalists in the Western Balkans to deepen their understanding of biodiversity issues, the specific challenges facing the region and the solutions needed to protect and preserve its important ecosystems. This workshop will support journalists to strengthen their biodiversity reporting and equip their audiences with the information they need to hold governments accountable and track progress against commitments.
