“At Mongabay Latam we are celebrating 10 years and we are going to celebrate them with the PUMA FEST: I Latin American Festival of Environmental Journalism, a meeting for journalists, teachers, students and anyone who is interested in journalism and the environment. The event is on July 23 in Bogotá and the event is completely free.

“We partnered with the Gabo Foundation to make the PUMA FEST the preamble to this year’s Gabo Festival, which will also be held in Bogotá one day after our meeting, from July 24 to 26.

“At PUMA FEST you will be able to participate in workshops, learn about the methodology of award-winning environmental research, learn about indigenous communication experiences in the Amazon, attend discussion tables on the political situation of the environment in Latin America, and participate in networking spaces. There will be more than 20 international speakers and specialized journalists.”
