Tyler Prize Media Fellowship

Summary:

"The Tyler Prize for Environmental Achievement — often called the 'Nobel Prize for the Environment' — is offering a limited number of Media Fellowships to support journalists covering the 2026 Tyler Prize events [on April 23] in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This is a unique opportunity to gain direct access to the world’s foremost environmental leaders, scientists, and policy-makers — and to report on groundbreaking work shaping the future of our planet." This opportunity is open to professional journalists worldwide who cover environment, science or policy; deadline extended to January 7, 2026. Available are two European Fellowships (travel expenses up to USD $250) and one Global Fellowship (travel expenses up to USD $750 ). Fellows also receive:

  • Complimentary accommodation in Amsterdam for the duration of the Tyler Prize events
  • Full access to the State of the Environment Address, Tyler Prize Award Dinner & Reception, and all associated press opportunities
  • The chance to interview the 2026 Tyler Prize Laureate and other key environmental leaders
