Vermont Law and Graduate School Summer Media Fellowships
"The Vermont Law & Graduate School (VLGS) Environmental Law Center's Media Fellowships are open to full-time journalists who cover issues related to the environment or food and agricultural law and policy."
- In 2026, the center is accepting 2 journalists focused on environmental law and policy and 1 focused on food and agricultural law and policy. The fellowships are open to full-time journalists who cover environmental issues such as natural resources, energy, legal affairs, food and agriculture, public health, and other environment-related subjects.
- Selected media fellows have access to our distinguished faculty and visiting policy leaders, meet for on- or off-record conversations with these experts, develop new insights, and gain new sources. Each fellow will choose to audit one or two courses from a selection of topics within their specific fellowship category.
- Media fellows in these areas will audit one- or two-week courses in June or July 2026. These fellows will receive a one-week $625 stipend or a two-week $1,250 stipend, free housing, and a tuition waiver (travel not included).
- Apply here by Feb. 1, 2026.
