The Centre for Investigative Journalism

Summary:

"The CIJ was founded in 2003 by the late investigative journalist and filmmaker Gavin MacFadyen and others as a response to the worrying decline in investigative reporting. The CIJ is an independent UK registered charity based in London. We train journalists and their allies in the craft of investigative journalism. We support public interest reporting globally by providing expertise on the latest investigative tools and techniques for everyone from freelancers to some of the world’s top newsrooms. We deliver a range of scheduled and bespoke training programmes as well as holding events and conferences. We keep our training accessible and affordable by subsidising fees and providing free-to-access initiatives for selected cohorts."
